Thanksgiving is one time of the year that vegetarians are often left out and have to fend for themselves. Veggie Grill takes the opposite approach, they celebrate vegetarians with a full Thanksgiving meal that will make any meat eater jealous. Veggie Grill doesn’t limit it to that one day though, they are celebrating the fall season with fresh ingredients that are incorporated into new dishes that will please any diner, vegetarian or not.
If you want to take the work out of Thanksgiving this year Veggie Grill is taking pre-orders for their VG Holiday Feast. This meal for four comes with everything including: a stuffed holiday roast, apple sausage stuffing, green beans with almonds and orange butter, mashed yams, Yukon mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy and cranberry sauce. You can also add pumpkin spice cake for dessert.
Veggie Grill always seems to shine when it comes to bringing a number of flavors into a single bowl and they really outdid themselves this fall with the pozole verde bowl. The tomatillo cilantro broth is very flavorful and has just a little bit of heat that brings the dish to life. From their you have layers of ingredients starting with the grilled chickin’, of course not real chicken but extremely close to the real thing. Then you will find a combination of brown rice, cabbage, radish, avocado and pickled vegetables. This is not only a flavorful bowl that was made for a cool fall day, but it is one of those healthy and filling dishes you don’t have to feel guilty about eating.
Thanksgiving and fall might not conjure up thoughts of a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, but after tasting the Veggie Grill version, you will start looking forward to eating it every fall. The Beyond Burger “cheesesteak” sandwich has all of the qualities you look for in the original as it is piled high with onions and green peppers and a gooey and delicious provolone cheese sauce that smothers they beyond burger meat all on a fresh hoagie roll. Veggie Grill also added another classic sandwich to the fall menu with the Beyond Patty Melt.
The one thing you can always count on from Veggie Grill is whatever they do, they do it right. Whether it is introducing a new seasonal menu, giving you an entire vegetarian Thanksgiving menu, you can be sure that they put their guests along with their experience and their taste buds first.
